Mechanic - Pecos, TX at Water Bridge

Summary of Position:
Maintain and repair H-Pumps. Maintenance Roustabouts will be responsible for ensuring functionality and reliability of pumps. This position reports directly to the Maintenance Supervisor.

• Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical issues.
• Overseeing company owned H-Pumps daily.
• Replacing and realigning thrust chambers, as needed.
• Replacing and realigning electrical motors, as needed.
• Replacing water and oil seals, as needed.
• Ensuring proper maintenance procedures are followed at all times.

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• 3-5 years’ experience working on H-Pumps.
• Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain various brands of H-Pumps.
• Experience diagnosing electrical issues, repair, realignment, and replacement of thrust chambers, water seals, oil seals, and electrical motors.
• Knowledge of centrifugal pump and PD (Positive Displacement) is highly desirable.
• Live in Pecos, TX or within a 30-mile radius required.
• Company paid housing will be provided during working shift.

• Operates in a field environment.
• Physical demands include standing, walking, or sitting; using hands; climbing stairs; lifting up to 50 pounds; may require carrying a self-contained breathing apparatus.
• Vision requirements: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

• Full-time position.
• Rotation schedules offered: 10/4, 11/3, 11/4, or 14/7.
• Day and night shifts available; occasional call-outs at night.
