Addictions Therapist

Shire Healthcare are recruiting for four Addiction Therapist vacancies to work within a specialist rehabilitation service within 1 hour of Edinburgh and Glasgow.

Role snapshot:

The successful candidates will join a multidisciplinary team within a family-run organisation supporting service users with addiction in a residential rehabilitation setting. The post holders will conduct biopsychosocial admission assessments and facilitate one-to-one, group and family therapy.

There are opportunities to develop additional specialisms including CBT, DBT, EMDR, eating disorders and gambling addiction.

Contract type – Permanent

Hours – Full-time, Monday to Friday, with occasional weekends on a rotational basis

Experience required:

Applicants must have previous experience working within addiction services and be registered with an accrediting body such as AP NCAC, UKCP, HCPC, COSCA, BACP or BABCP, with those working towards accreditation also encouraged to apply.

Experience with in residential care, rehabilitation or similar therapeutic settings is desirable.
