We have an exciting opportunity for a Facilities Assistant to join our team at Glentress Forest. Work in one of the UK’s most beautiful forest locations, developing your skills while providing outstanding service to our guests.

As a Facilities Assistant you will ensure our cabins are in good working order with well‑maintained décor. You will complete general maintenance tasks, respond to issues promptly, and maintain excellent communication with guests.

You will also audit cabins regularly to keep standards high and assist with operations tasks such as delivering items to cabins or emptying bins on changeover days.

• Carry out general maintenance and repair work to keep cabins in good working order and well‑presented
• Complete basic decorating and upkeep tasks to maintain high standards of cabin appearance
• Respond quickly to maintenance issues and resolve them where possible, using basic tools and repair skills
• Pay attention to the little details and deliver daily tasks in a timely and competent manner
• Take pride in delivering exceptional customer service
• Follow brand standards to ensure every guest experiences the Forest Feeling from the moment they step into their cabin

Our ideal Facilities Assistant will be a dynamic individual who applies a can‑do attitude to solve any issues that may arise on location. You will be a team player, capable of building good working relationships with colleagues and having a love for the outdoors, as tasks need to be completed rain or shine every day of the year.

• A full clean UK driving licence
• A positive, can‑do attitude and a strong work ethic

• Great attention to detail, ensuring high cleanliness standards are met
• Some previous experience in a similar role
• A willingness to work outdoors in a natural setting, whatever the weather
