At Barony Castle Hotel, we’re looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Food & Beverage Team Member to support our restaurant and busy events operation. Nestled in 25 acres of beautiful grounds near Peebles, our historic castle is known for great hospitality—and we’d love you to be part of the team that brings it to life.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Greeting guests with genuine warmth and setting the tone for a relaxed, enjoyable dining experience
• Providing attentive, personable service in our restaurant—taking orders, serving dishes, and ensuring guests feel looked after throughout their meal
• Supporting weddings, conferences, and special events by helping deliver smooth, professional food and drink service with a friendly touch
• Working closely with the team to maintain excellent presentation in all dining and event spaces
• Handling payments confidently and ensuring accuracy across all front‑of‑house tasks
• Assisting with setup, breakdown, and preparing spaces so every guest arrives to a spotless, organised setting
• Communicating with the kitchen and events teams to keep service flowing and guests happy

• A positive team player who brings energy and calm to busy shifts
• Great communication skills and a natural eye for detail
• Ability to work under pressure while staying friendly and professional
• Previous hospitality experience is a bonus—but a genuine passion for great service matters most
• Flexibility to work a mix of shifts, including evenings and weekends
