Under the supervision of a healthcare provider, the Clinical Nurse RN delivers patient care to ensure safety and well-being, demonstrating clinical competence and adhering to licensure and safety protocols.

Under the supervision of a healthcare provider, the Clinical Nurse RN delivers patient care to ensure safety and well-being, demonstrating clinical competence and adhering to licensure and safety protocols.

• Assist providers with patient assessments, preparing for examinations, treatments, and minor procedures.
• Perform clinical skills such as drawing blood, collecting samples, and preparing specimens for labs.
• Apply the Nursing Process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation—within licensure guidelines.
• Provide telephone triage, offering advice and follow-up on patient health and progress.
• Administer vaccines and medications via oral, IM, SQ, or s, and place urinary catheters and IVs per protocol.
• Coordinate referrals, complete documentation, and ensure compliance with pre-certification and follow-up procedures.
• Document patient interactions accurately in electronic health records, supervise delegated duties, and contribute to patient education using established protocols.
• Maintain compliance with CLIA, OSHA, HIPAA, and safety standards, and participate in team meetings and organizational communication.
• Strive to improve quality and customer service, providing patient education and fostering team collaboration.

• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in Illinois.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days.
• Relevant nursing education and clinical skills.
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to perform clinical procedures and handle patient care tasks confidently.
