We are seeking entry-level, full-time sales associates in our pawn store locations nationwide. The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate partners with the entire staff of the store to ensure customer service on both the lending and retail sides of the business. The associate greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions.

The associate works with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms (in FFL locations) and more. The Full-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate earns an hourly wage plus commission based on productivity. The actual pay is based on location, qualifications, and experience.

• Greets and interacts with customers to develop a rapport and understand their financial needs.
• Performs open/close procedures as required.
• Keeps the sales floor clean, stocked, and maintains merchandise displays.
• Performs sales and loan transactions following established policies and procedures.
• Handles cash and negotiable items per policies and procedures.
• Answers incoming calls per company standards.
• Communicates legal aspects of pawn and buy transactions clearly to customers.
• Collaborates with coworkers and managers to deliver a positive customer experience.
• Completes required training and performs other duties as assigned.

• Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks such as walking, bending, and lifting in accordance with job duties.
• Ability to work with firearms and to become firearms certified where applicable.
• Must be able to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Minimum Age: 18 years old
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
• Strong desire to work, serve customers, and be team-oriented; ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills and cash handling experience preferred.
• Computer literate and able to operate POS systems.
