Vine Brook Homes is an internally managed real estate investment company focused on acquiring, renovating, leasing, and operating single-family homes as rental properties. Since 2007, we have been an early investor and developer of the Single-Family Rental (SFR) asset class, building a portfolio of workforce SFR assets in key secondary and tertiary markets. Our current SFR REIT portfolio includes approximately 14,000 homes, with plans to expand to over 25,000.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Complete projects in a timely, cost-effective manner while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Source contractors and vendors, oversee their work, and ensure adherence to project specifications.
  • Test all systems and functions of the homes to ensure proper operation.
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they meet established completion requirements.

The role requires adherence to budgets and schedules, with a focus on quality control and production. The Project Manager must be organized, tech-savvy, adaptable, team-oriented, and willing to get hands dirty when necessary.

Required Skills
  • Impeccable ethics and integrity.
  • 5+ years of progressively responsible management experience, preferably in construction management.
  • Strong knowledge of construction practices, sequencing, and permit processes.
  • Ability to prepare schedules and cost estimates.
  • Proficiency with technology, computers, and MS Office.
  • Strong financial acumen and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Sound business judgment and understanding of real estate investment basics.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Degree in construction management or related field preferred but not required.
