Shivaay Group LLC is in search of a Sales Representative who will bring value and profit to our hotels for our company. We are seeking someone with a positive personality who has excellent communication and great networking skills. With this position you are fully responsible for personal information that is considered private and secure. The Sales position is an essential part of our team. As the Sales Rep, you will be overseeing many accounts and grasping all potential opportunities; bringing great value to our hotel and team. For these reasons, we are looking for the best individual for this position.

Responsibilities
  • Answer leads and groups as they come through: whether through partnering sites or direct contact through the hotel
  • Seek all business opportunities and profitable prospects on a day-to-day basis for 2 hotels in the area
  • Follow up with clients and companies to maintain our partnership with key accounts and their guests, keeping consistent communications
  • Review all accounts and revisit them every year to keep key accounts returning
  • Complete contracts, company proposals, finalize groups rooming lists and payment, ensuring payments for any groups or Direct Bill Companies are paid and not past 30 days
  • Handle all paperwork and responses in a professional and timely manner
  • Accurately enter, track, and maintain account information, client interactions, and booking details in the hotel brand systems
  • Ensure all details requested by guests in contracts are met to their expectations
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings, providing updates on activity, pipeline, and opportunities
  • Assist with the creation of sales action plans and targeted prospecting strategies under the direction of the Director of Sales
  • Represent the hotel at networking events, trade shows, and community activities to promote awareness and generate leads
  • Maintain a well-documented and organized file system to support effective account management and follow-up
  • Deliver superior client service by responding promptly to inquiries, managing client expectations, and resolving concerns quickly
  • Continuously build knowledge of the competitive set and local market trends to identify new opportunities
  • Exhibit a positive, team-oriented attitude and maintain strong communication with colleagues across all hotel departments
  • Commit to ongoing professional development and sales training to continually improve performance
Experience
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in Hospitality Sales
  • Communication skills and excellent phone etiquette
  • Quick to learn a new system and structure. Experience in the hotel Operating Systems is a plus, but not required.
  • Bilingual or Multilingual skills (if applicable) are a plus
  • Ability to work flexible hours if needed
  • Available to travel between properties and local businesses. Range of approximately 30 miles
