* Job Description:
** - Are you passionate about providing exceptional patient care and looking to make a real impact? - Step into our urology clinic where you will:
- Maintain efficient clinic flow for patients and providers.
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, phone calls, treatments, and procedures.
- Take charge of patient medical records and documentation.
- Collect and prepare specimens with precision.
- Administer medications as ordered by the provider.
** Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** - Graduate of an accredited RN program or LPN.
- Current nursing license in the state of Iowa.
- 3 years of clinical experience in an acute or ambulatory care setting preferred.
- Experience in acute care or home health nursing for cardiac or diabetic patients is a plus.
- Prior experience in phone triage, ER triage, or MD office triage preferred.
- Superior nursing process skills and a strong patient service orientation.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Code BLS certification required (new employees to certify within three months of hire).
- Bring a positive, enthusiastic, and helpful attitude to the team! - Must be organized, able to set priorities, and work effectively under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Thrive in a team environment.
- Ability to think, converse, and type simultaneously, utilizing excellent phone communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic PC skills and comfort with Windows Operating Systems.
- Membership in a professional organization or certification in a specialty is highly desired.
