Commissioning Engineer Temporary

Position: Commissioning Engineer (Contract, Temporary)
We are currently seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer with a strong background in waste water treatment plant (WWTP) projects for an immediate start in Pembrokeshire.

This is a site-based role, working on the commissioning phase of a waste water treatment facility, supporting successful system integration, testing and handover.

Key Responsibilities:

* Commissioning of mechanical, electrical and process systems within a waste water treatment plant

* Functional testing of pumps, motors, blowers, screens, dosing systems and associated equipment

* Loop checks, I/O testing and instrumentation verification

* Liaising with PLC/SCADA engineers during system integration

* Fault finding, troubleshooting and system optimisation

* Supporting wet testing and performance validation

* Ensuring compliance with health & safety and environmental standards

* Assisting with documentation, reporting and handover packs

Requirements:

* Proven commissioning experience on waste water treatment plants (essential)

* Strong understanding of M&E systems within water/waste water environments

* Experience working alongside principal contractors and site teams

* Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, schematics and control philosophies

* CSCS card (preferred)

* SMSTS/SSSTS (desirable but not essential)

* Eligible to work in the UK
