We are currently seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer with a strong background in waste water treatment plant (WWTP) projects for an immediate start in Pembrokeshire.
This is a site-based role, working on the commissioning phase of a waste water treatment facility, supporting successful system integration, testing and handover.
Key Responsibilities:
Commissioning of mechanical, electrical and process systems within a waste water treatment plant
Functional testing of pumps, motors, blowers, screens, dosing systems and associated equipment
Loop checks, I/O testing and instrumentation verification
Liaising with PLC/SCADA engineers during system integration
Fault finding, troubleshooting and system optimisation
Supporting wet testing and performance validation
Ensuring compliance with health & safety and environmental standards
Assisting with documentation, reporting and handover packs
Requirements:
Proven commissioning experience on waste water treatment plants (essential)
Strong understanding of M&E systems within water/waste water environments
Experience working alongside principal contractors and site teams
Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, schematics and control philosophies
CSCS card (preferred)
SMSTS/SSSTS (desirable but not essential)
Eligible to work in the UK
