Fabricator​/Fitters Marine

We are looking for an experienced Fabricator to join a skilled team working on marine vessels. This is a hands-on role involving the fabrication, assembly and installation of steel and structural components across both new-build and in-service boats.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

* Fabricating and assembling steel and structural components

* Working from technical drawings and specifications

* Installing structural components onboard marine vessels

* Carrying out welding, cutting, grinding and general fabrication work

* Working on both new-build projects and vessel maintenance/refit work

* Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard of quality and safety

* Working effectively as part of a wider engineering and production team

About You

We are looking for someone who:

* Has previous experience in fabrication, ideally within marine, shipbuilding or a similar heavy engineering environment

* Can read and interpret technical drawings

* Has strong practical fabrication and welding skills

* Is confident working with steel and structural components

* Takes pride in producing high-quality work

* Works safely and follows site procedures

* Can work independently while also contributing effectively to a team
