Description Kforce has a client that is seeking a Staff/Senior Accountant (Public Accounting) for a hybrid role in Pembroke or Natick, MA. Kforce is partnering with a growing, multi-location public accounting firm seeking to add a Staff or Senior Accountant due to continued expansion.

Key Tasks:
* Support and coordinate engagement planning (staffing, scheduling, workflow)
* Monitor engagements to ensure timelines and budgets are met
* Execute and lead complex areas of audit and accounting work
* Review work papers for accuracy and compliance with firm standards
* Review financial statements, reports, and tax returns
* Assist in mentoring and guiding junior staff on engagements
Requirements
Background sought:
* Public accounting experience (audit/tax mix preferred)
* CPA or pursuing
* Strong technical accounting and client-facing skills
* Ability to manage multiple engagements in a fast-paced environment
Job Type Direct Hire Compensation
90000 - $127500
