Job Description
Pay: $35-$40/hr
Shift: Tuesday - Friday - 5:30am-5:30pm

Pen Argyl, PA
Position:
Techo-Bloc is on the hunt for their next industrial maintenance technician (electro-mechanic). Our technicians are highly proficient in electrical maintenance, troubleshooting and welding.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Here is a snapshot of your day-to-day:
* Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and/or replace mechanical components such as motors, gear boxes, drive chains, sprockets, sheaves, pulleys, rollers, conveyor belts, bearings, and screws.
* Repair/troubleshoot hydraulic cylinders, valves, solenoids and pumps
* Identify and make hydraulic hoses as needed
* Advanced welding and fabrication skills. Must perform welding in various positions, locations and weld various types of joints
* Ability to properly operate band saws, torch, drill presses, grinders and other shop tools
* Performs installation of new equipment. Aligns machines and equipment using hoists, jacks, hand tools, squares, rules, micrometers, and plumb bobs.
* Troubleshoot using electrical schematics and multimeter/megger to diagnose electrical issues
* Properly size components and cabling for new electrical systems
* Reads and understands wiring diagrams to trace electrical circuits; IO's, OL's, contractors, relays, break resisters and various other electrical components
* Familiar with troubleshooting/set up of VFD drives; SEW drives, Siemen, Lenze, Allen Bradley, AB
* Familiar with interference fits and bearing heaters
* Start or jog equipment to perform maintenance tasks
* Test malfunctioning machinery, identify parts needed and complete repairs
* Repair, install and dismantle machinery and equipment according to plans which involves working at heights, climbing ladders and using mobile equipment (cranes, forklift, scissor lift, etc.).
* Document and perform all preventative maintenance tasks as required to maintain equipment dependability.
* Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work area.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Skills/Abilities:
* 2 + years' experience working in Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance or relevant field.
* Proficient with use of power tools, measuring devices, lathe and/or milling machinery
* Previous experience using bearing heaters, interference fits, and/or removing gear boxes or seized bearings/shafts
* Previous experience with stick and MIG welding.
* Will need to fabricate projects as well as make welding repairs
* Proficient Electrical skills
* Proficient in troubleshooting electrical components; IOs, OLs, contractors, relays, break resisters and various other electrical components
* Read and comprehend schematics and diagrams.
* Experience with 480vAC, 120vAC, 24vDC, and 4-20mA systems
* Able to use multi-meter, megger, and other test equipment
* Maintain, install, troubleshoot VFDs, programmable sensors, SCADA, HMI, and PLCs.
* Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes
* Collaborative;

Education and Experience:
* Electrical certificates or equivalent experience (preferred)
