About the Role
A secondary school in Choa Chu Kang is seeking a Printing cum Administration Assistant to manage its printing room and provide general administrative and reception support. The role involves document production, stock monitoring, basic equipment troubleshooting and coordination with service vendors.
Work ArrangementsLocation: Choa Chu Kang Avenue 4, Singapore 689809
Contract Period: 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2027
- Photocopy, laminate, bind and shred documents as required.
- Monitor printing supplies and ensure adequate stock of items such as:
Paper Toner Staples Laminating film Binding rings - Manage printing request forms and stationery intended for staff use.
- Maintain the Printing Room in a clean, neat and organised condition.
- Attend to photocopier issues in staff rooms and carry out basic checks before contacting the appointed service provider.
- Liaise with vendors regarding maintenance schedules and repairs for photocopiers and related equipment.
- Provide general administrative support, including:
Sorting, distributing and filing documents - Attending to walk-in enquiries
- Answering telephone calls
- Supporting reception duties where required
- Perform other relevant administrative duties assigned by the school.
- Secondary school education or equivalent.
- Able to communicate and read instructions in English.
- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Applicants must be legally authorised to work in Singapore throughout the contract period.
A pass in WISE English Language Module 4, or an equivalent qualification, would be advantageous.
Prior experience in printing, administrative or school support duties would also be beneficial.
The successful candidate should demonstrate:
- Basic operational knowledge of photocopiers and printers.
- Ability to carry out preliminary equipment checks and liaise with service vendors.
- Good administrative, filing and document-handling skills.
- Ability to monitor supplies and maintain accurate stock levels.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- A service-oriented approach and the ability to complete tasks within required timelines.
Working Hours:
- Monday to Thursday: 7.00am to 5.00pm, inclusive of a one-hour lunch break
- Friday: 7.00am to 4.00pm, inclusive of a one-hour lunch break
- No service is required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays
