Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior/Mid-Level Façade Designer to support the design and development of façade and building envelope systems for a variety of commercial, residential, institutional, and mixed-use projects. The successful candidate will work closely with architects, engineers, consultants, and project teams to produce design drawings, technical details, and construction documentation while ensuring compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the design and development of façade systems including:
- Curtain wall systems
- Unitized façades
- Stick curtain wall systems
- Windows and doors
- Aluminium cladding
- Glazing systems
- Louvres, canopies, and skylights
- And any other facade related systems
Prepare:
- Design drawings materials
- Shop drawings
- Material schedules
- Develop façade details in accordance with project specifications, structural requirements, and architectural intent.
- Review architectural and engineering drawings for façade-related requirements and constructability.
- Support material selection and façade system evaluation.
- Participate in technical meetings and design coordination workshops.
- Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, standards, and project specifications.
- Knowledge in BIM coordination and clash resolution using Revit or other BIM platforms is an advantage.
Bachelor's Degree in:
Architecture, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building Engineering, Architectural Technology, or other related discipline
Junior Level: 1–3 years of façade design experience
Mid-Level: 3–5 years of façade design experience
Experience in building envelope and façade systems is preferred.
