Teacher Active are proud to be working with a wide network of Secondary Schools across Cardiff, and we are actively recruiting Welsh-speaking Cover Supervisors to support our partner schools with high-quality and consistent classroom cover.

Fluent Welsh speakers are in high demand, and your ability to communicate naturally and confidently in Welsh will be hugely valued across our Welsh-medium and bilingual schools.

About the Role

Our Cover Supervisors play a vital role in ensuring continuity of learning when teachers are absent. There is no planning or preparation required, but strong communication and excellent classroom management skills are essential. Welsh-medium communication with pupils is a key part of the role.

The Successful Cover Supervisor Will:

• Be a fluent Welsh speaker and confident using Welsh in the classroom

• Hold CACHE Level 2/3or have 6+ months of relevant experience

• Be confident managing a class of students aged 11–16+

• Be able to promote positive behaviour and keep students engaged

• Be flexible to work across different subjects, departments, and year groups
