Teaching Assistant

Overview

Teaching Assistant position based in Penarth with Vision for Education. Salary ranging from £88.92 - £101.92 per day. Long-term role supporting primary-aged children on a 1:1 and small group basis. Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 3.30pm.

• Support pupils across all key stages, including collaboration with the class teacher to provide a high standard of education and outdoor learning.
• Contribute to forest school sessions and outdoor education activities.
• Adapt to a variety of roles from foundation phase to upper key stage 2 as required by the school.
• Work with a can-do attitude and uphold school values.
• Assist with the delivery of training and development opportunities provided by Vision for Education and the host school.

• Background in education or care is desirable; passion for supporting children in schools.
• The ability to speak Welsh is preferred, but not essential.
• Flexible and enthusiastic individual able to work across all key stages and participate in a range of activities.

Primary school in Penarth. Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 3.30pm. Weekends and school holidays off.
