Newly Qualified Teachers- SEN

Location: Penarth

Salary: From £172 / day

Contract: Full time

We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Teachers to join our SEN school in Penarth where you will gain valuable hands‑on experience and learn how to cater to a range of complex ALN
. This unique opportunity will grow your confidence in leading a class and participating as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team that aims to create a safe and nurturing environment for all learners. Our school aims to support every child and give them the confidence they need to lead a happy and healthy life in their next steps after school.

About

the Role
  • Deliver targeted interventions and specialist teaching to pupils across EYFS to KS5.
  • Support pupils with complex learning barriers and progress their confidence and their social, emotional and communication skills.
  • Use multi‑sensory approaches and work cooperatively with specialist multidisciplinary teams to advance and deliver these.
  • Monitoring and assessing pupils progress and providing updates for pupils, parents/guardians and other teaching staff.
  • Creating and maintaining a safe and supportive environment that encourages expression and learning simultaneously.
Requirements
  • Awarded a PGCE and now looking to gain your QTS.
  • Good knowledge on how to adapt the curriculum for children with SEN.
  • Enthusiastic, reliable, resilient and able to create a fun learning environment.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, peers and parents.
  • Clear understanding of safeguarding.
