Job SummaryProvide technical support on product offerings to customers, ensuring solutions meet local authority requirements and tender specifications. Evaluate project requirements from Sales and distributors for non-standard system sales via RFQ and support pre-sales inquiries collaboratively.
Responsibilities- Perform project feasibility studies and propose alternative solutions or specification deviations based on inquiry documents
- Develop and work on project tender specifications to meet customer and regulatory requirements
- Conduct site surveys and assist in integration proposals for project implementation
- Lead discussions with inquirers to influence specification changes, focusing on installation design for exhaust and fuel supply systems
- Review requests for non-standard gensets and equipment to verify completeness and technical and commercial viability
- Respond promptly to technical pre-sales inquiries to support customer decision-making
- Generate detailed project cost estimations including non-standard products, M&E works, and solution selling
- Collaborate with the engineering team to propose appropriate or alternative solutions aligned with customer requirements
- Work closely with the Senior IS Engineer to prepare accurate quotations for the sales team based on project needs
- Coordinate with Supply Chain and vendors during pre-sales development to fulfill customer requirements for non-standard systems
- Take ownership to achieve department and organizational sales targets through proactive support and collaboration
- Provide pre-sales technical support to distributors and dealers to enhance customer satisfaction
- Maintain ISO systems related to Information Systems (IS) to ensure compliance and quality standards
- Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Relevant technical solution expertise demonstrated through comparable role experience
- Strong interpersonal skills demonstrated by effective oral and written communication
- Ability to manage and prioritize work efficiently to meet deadlines and project demands
