Position: SENIOR FUND ACCOUNTANT

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Fund Accountant to manage a portfolio of alternative investment fund clients. In this role, you will lead engagements, ensure service excellence, and act as the primary point of contact for clients. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality fund accounting and administration services while maintaining strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities Fund Accounting & Reporting
  • Prepare and review accounting, bookkeeping, and reporting for various alternative investment funds (e.g., Private Equity, Venture Capital, Real Estate, Fund of Funds, Family Offices).
  • Produce and review periodic NAV reports (monthly to annual), including key financial statements, reconciliations, and investment reports.
  • Ensure financial statements comply with relevant accounting standards such as FRS, IFRS, RAP 7, and US GAAP.
Client & Stakeholder Management
  • Serve as the main liaison for assigned client portfolio.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and delivery.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Follow up with clients on accounting issues and provide practical solutions.
Audit & Compliance
  • Oversee fund audits and liaise with auditors to ensure timely completion.
  • Prepare regulatory and financial reports for fund entities.
  • Maintain proper controls and operational procedures to mitigate risks.
Fund Operations & Administration
  • Manage day-to-day operations of funds, coordinating with investors and fund managers.
  • Support investor servicing activities, including investor onboarding, capital calls and distributions, and shareholder reporting.
Team Support
  • Take initiative in handling additional responsibilities as required.
Requirements
  • Strong academic background in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Experience in financial services, particularly with alternative investment funds, is preferred.
  • Proficiency in English and Chinese (written and spoken).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel and Word.
