Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Process invoices, payments, and staff claims accurately and on time.
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Verify transactions and ensure proper documentation for all financial records.
- Assist in monthly closing activities, including reconciliation of accounts and preparing financial reports.
- Maintain organized records of financial documents for compliance and audits.
- Support the finance team in expense tracking, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Assist with payroll processing, including verifying timesheets and allowances.
- Ensure compliance with tax, GST, and regulatory filings.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and banks when needed.
- Work closely with the retail and supply chain teams to ensure smooth financial operations.
- Support procurement and inventory finance functions, ensuring accurate cost tracking.
- Assist in implementing and improving finance-related SOPs for efficiency.
- Embrace and adopt AI tools to support day‑to‑day finance tasks such as invoice processing, reporting, and data analysis.
- Identify repetitive or manual workflows within the finance function and work with the team to explore automation opportunities.
- Stay curious and open to learning new tools as the company continues to evolve its tech and AI capabilities.
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- 1-3 years of experience in finance or administrative roles.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software (e.g., Xero, Quick Books, SAP, or similar).
- Good communication skills and ability to work with cross‑functional teams.
- Highly organized, proactive, and able to meet deadlines.
- Open to working with AI tools and keen to grow alongside a tech‑forward finance team. (No prior AI experience required — just the right mindset.)
