Job Description & How to Apply Below

About the Role

We are looking for a highly responsible, intensely detail-oriented Risk Operations Analyst to be the vigilant eyes of our daily trading operations. In this role, you will serve on the front lines of our risk defense. We need someone with a true "geek" spirit- someone who obsesses over process integrity, spots anomalies from the faintest clues, and naturally leans into designing systemic solutions rather than just patching symptoms.

Responsibilities
  • Map out business workflows and develop a deep understanding of risk points across various business lines; take proactive measures to prevent, elevate, and resolve operational risks.
  • Monitor and manage risks across the entire trading lifecycle (pre-trade, in-trade, and post-trade). Master the firm's trading infrastructure and collaborate closely with trading and tech teams to address business requirements.
  • Oversee internal control frameworks, continuously tracking control risk points and ensuring all business lines adhere to strict operational standards.
  • Conduct regular statistical analysis on operational and trading data, producing comprehensive risk reports for different business lines to support management oversight.
Requirements
  • Master's degree or above from a top-tier university in Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, SQL, C++) to automate tasks and query data.
  • A natural "geek" mindset paired with extreme attention to detail- you excel at uncovering hidden problems from subtle clues/signals and designing effective, scalable solutions to fix them.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate smoothly under pressure across different teams.
Bonus
  • Prior experience working in the quantitative trading industry.
  • Professional qualifications or passed exams in CPA, FRM, CFA, or Actuarial Science.
