Specialist Physiotherapist - Mental Health Services

Position Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and innovative, experienced physiotherapist with proven rehabilitation clinical skills to join a specialist acute medicine rotation and the Mental Health Services for Physiotherapy team at University Hospital Llandough.

• Assess and deliver physiotherapy to patients with acute medicine needs, multi‑pathologies and complex social needs.
• Support adults with both functional and organic mental health needs using the award‑winning Rehabilitation Model.
• Implement physical health and well‑being interventions across inpatient, outpatient, and community settings.
• Provide problem‑solving support for complex discharge planning and adapt to changes in service provision.
• Prioritise workloads, manage time effectively, and demonstrate resilience in a part‑time capacity.

• Registered physiotherapist with demonstrable experience in rehabilitation settings.
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning abilities.
• Excellent problem‑solving, time‑management, and prioritising skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Welsh language skills are desirable, but Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

• Part‑time position with flexibility and support from a progressive therapy team.
