Summary

We are seeking a System Analyst / Solution Architect to ensure quality and consistency in our AI-first software development lifecycle. In this role, you will validate and enrich BRDs/PRDs produced by the Product Owner and Product Committee, ensuring they include correct non‑functional requirements (NFRs), architectural considerations, and are translated into structured prompts for our AI‑first IDEs.

Key Responsibilities Software Systems Oversight
  • Oversee the design, development, and evaluation of software systems used across Liquid’s core payment and AI‑first platforms.
  • Guide the selection or adoption of new software solutions, ensuring they meet organisational requirements in performance, security, compliance, and scalability.
Quality, Performance & Delivery Governance
  • Monitor the results and quality of software solutions generated both manually and through AI‑assisted development tools.
  • Establish quality gates across the SDLC to ensure all software projects and system enhancements meet architectural, security, and regulatory standards.
  • Review completed features and system updates to verify functional accuracy, performance benchmarks, and alignment with product objectives.
Technical Leadership & Proof‑of‑Concept Development
  • Oversee the development of Proof‑of‑Concepts (POCs) for new features, architectures, and platform capabilities.
  • Provide technical expertise and advice to the Product Owner and engineering teams on feasibility, risks, solution options, and architectural trade‑offs.
  • Validate that all POCs and proposed solutions appropriately address security, resilience, and risk considerations.
AI‑First Development Enablement
  • Translate enriched BRDs/PRDs into structured, reusable prompts for the AI‑first IDE, ensuring they accurately represent requirements and constraints.
  • Maintain and evolve prompt templates, architectural blueprints, and coding standards to ensure consistency across AI‑generated output.
Architecture, Standards & System Integrity
  • Maintain Liquids technical rulebook, architectural patterns, approved frameworks, and system design guidelines.
  • Ensure software systems—whether AI‑generated or manually engineered—adhere to established principles, NFRs, and platform strategy.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
  • Partner closely with the Product Owner, Product Committee, Dev Ops, and engineering teams to ensure seamless transition from business requirements to technical execution.
  • Coach engineers on interpreting AI‑generated artefacts and applying architectural standards throughout development.
Requirements
  • Experience as a Software Developer, System Analyst, Solution Architect, Technical BA, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, microservices, and cloud architectures (AWS preferred).
  • Familiarity with AI‑assisted development tools (Cursor, Windsurf, Git Hub Copilot) or willingness to learn.
  • Knowledge of secure coding, performance tuning, and non‑functional requirements.
  • Excellent ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and prompts.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
Nice to Have
  • Experience configuring enterprise IDEs or coding guidelines for teams.
  • Exposure to automated testing, CI/CD, and Dev Sec Ops .
  • Familiarity with compliance regimes (PCI DSS, GDPR, ISO
    27001).
