The Assistant Manager, Corporate Communications supports the developing and implementing strategic corporate communications initiatives that strengthen the organisation's brand, reputation, and stakeholder engagement. This role reports to the Head of Corporate Communications, and manages key departmental projects, priorities and channels across internal and external communications, corporate publications, digital platforms, content development, brand management and assigned service portfolios.
Key Responsibilities1. Corporate Communications Strategy and Brand Management
Support the Head of Communications in developing and implementing department’s plans and initiatives aligned with the organisation's strategic priorities.
Advise internal stakeholders on the appropriate application of corporate messaging and brand guidelines.
Ensure consistency in corporate messaging, branding, and visual identity across all communication channels and materials.
Support communication initiatives that enhance organisational reputation, stakeholder engagement, and public awareness.
2. Corporate Publications
Lead the planning, development, production, and distribution of the organisation's Annual Report.
Ensure all publications accurately represent the organisation's achievements, impact, and corporate identity.
Support the production of other corporate publications and materials as required
3. Website Management and Digital Communications
Manage and maintain the organisation's website to ensure content accuracy, relevance, accessibility, and alignment with branding guidelines.
Work closely with stakeholders to develop and publish website content that supports organisational objectives and service promotion.
Lead the planning and implementation of the organisation's website refresh and enhancement project for FY27/28.
Monitor website performance and user engagement, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
Support content planning across relevant digital and social communication channels.
4. Videography and Content Development
Coordinate multimedia projects from concept and scripting through production, approval and publication.
Undertake basic photography, videography or video editing where appropriate, and work with external production partners for more complex requirements.
Maintain appropriate standards relating to brand, consent, confidentiality and quality for multimedia content.
Provide videography planning, production, and editing support for corporate communication initiatives and organisational campaigns.
5. Internal Communications
Develop and implement internal communication initiatives that promote employee engagement, organisational alignment, and information sharing.
Create engaging communication content across various internal platforms and channels.
6. Service Support
Provide communications support to assigned services or departments.
Develop communication materials, presentations, speeches, marketing collaterals, and publicity content to support service initiatives and programmes, and campaigns when required
7. Corporate Planning and Coordination
Maintain the Corporate Communications Calendar to coordinate key campaigns, publications, events and content milestones.
Work with departments to identify upcoming communications requirements and manage competing timelines and priorities.
8. Additional Duties
Perform any other duties assigned by the Head of Department or Senior Management.
Support the Head of Department in strategic projects or when required
Contribute to the continuous improvement of corporate communications processes, systems, and capabilities.
Provide guidance to junior team members, interns or vendors on assigned projects where applicable.
