Location: The Upper House Grill and Bar (Funan)

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management: Support the Operations Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and exceptional service. Monitor all departments, including kitchen, service, and bar, to maintain smooth coordination and high performance.
  • Staff Supervision and Training: Assist in recruiting, training, and mentoring staff to deliver excellent service and maintain operational standards. Schedule shifts and manage employee performance, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Customer

    Experience:

    Address customer concerns and feedback promptly to ensure satisfaction and loyalty. Uphold and enhance the restaurant s reputation by maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
  • Inventory and Resource Management: Assist in managing inventory levels, including food, beverages, and supplies, to avoid shortages or overstocking. Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality ingredients and materials.
  • Financial Oversight: Monitor daily financial operations, including cash flow, budgets, and expense management. Prepare and analyze sales and performance reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards. Regularly inspect the premises and equipment to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Event Coordination: Assist in planning and executing special events, promotions, and private bookings to drive revenue and attract customers.
  • Problem Solving: Act as a point of contact for operational issues and resolve them effectively in the absence of the Operations Manager.
  • Requirements
    • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Arts or a related field (preferred).
    • 3-5 years of experience in restaurant operations or hospitality management.
    • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Proficiency in restaurant management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Knowledge of food and beverage industry trends and operational best practices.
    Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience in managing upscale dining establishments.
    • Familiarity with Burmese, Thai, and grill-and-bar cuisine operations.
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
