AboutThe Role
As the IT Sales and Business Development Manager, you will be a key member of our sales team, responsible for expanding our market presence and driving revenue growth. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and demonstrating how our innovative technology solutions can positively impact clients’ business and technological environments. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities Pipeline Development- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities across various industries.
- Map key decision‑makers and organizational structures within target accounts.
- Drive outbound prospecting through strategic outreach, referrals, and leveraging internal databases.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and diligently track lead progression and sales activities.
- Support senior team members in preparing proposals and coordinating early‑stage client engagements.
- Co‑develop compelling proposals and pitch materials in collaboration with the sales team.
- Present tailored IT products and services, effectively articulating their value proposition to clients.
- Coordinate with technical and delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions align with client briefs and capabilities.
- Prepare detailed timelines, technical specifications, and supporting documents for client presentations.
- Participate in client meetings, document key actions, and ensure timely follow‑through on commitments.
- Cultivate and maintain high‑level prospect and customer relationships to ensure client retention and foster new growth opportunities.
- Conduct market intelligence gathering on customer needs, industry trends, and competitive landscapes.
- Work with internal operations teams to ensure solution deliverables remain on schedule and meet client expectations.
- Maintain regular client touchpoints, manage minor updates, and monitor satisfaction to ensure long‑term partnerships.
- Provide regular updates on pipeline status, sales forecasts, and lead progression to management.
- Track individual performance metrics through CRM dashboards and other reporting tools.
- Negotiate pricing terms and contracts, ensuring all agreements are commercially viable and accurately documented.
- Minimum 3 years of proven direct or indirect sales experience within the System Integrator (SI) and/or Managed Services business sectors.
- Demonstrated successful sales experience with complex IT solutions, including datacenter IT technologies and/or Enterprise IT technologies.
- An established corporate network with SMB and mid‑market enterprises in Singapore is highly advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both technical and non‑technical, for effective interaction with colleagues and clients.
- Strong client‑oriented approach and exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi‑task and thrive in a dynamic, fast‑changing entrepreneurial environment.
- Diploma/Degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
- Additional training or certifications in sales methodologies, IT solutions, or CRM systems will be advantageous.
