We are recruiting on behalf of our client, a well-established multi-franchise approved car dealership in Cardiff, for the position of Senior Parts Advisor. This role is ideal for individuals with recent experience in the automotive industry who are seeking a new opportunity to advance their career within a reputable dealership group.
Benefits- Salary up to £30,000 per annum, dependent on experience
- On-target earnings of £35,000 per annum based on customer satisfaction scores

- Accurately identify, pick, and supply vehicle parts to workshop staff for vehicle repairs
- Provide exceptional customer service to trade and retail clients regarding parts inquiries
- Maintain stock control and carry out regular audits as aSenior Parts Advisor
- Work collaboratively with the parts team, reporting to the Parts Manager
- Floating between front and back counter duties as required
- Utilise electronic parts catalogues and dealer management systems (Kerridge/CDK)
- Ensure efficient parts supply chain and stock management
- Recent or current experience within the automotive industry, ideally in parts or aftersales departments
- Familiarity with vehicle types and automotive parts processes
- Strong IT skills, including experience with electronic parts catalogues and dealer management software
- Excellent customer service and sales skills, with a friendly and engaging manner
- Ideally hold a UK driving licence with minimal points
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a busy environment
