Test Automation Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer to develop, maintain, and execute automated tests across enterprise-scale and complex systems.

• The successful candidate will support test automation frameworks, regression execution, automation enablement, and the development, enhancement, or integration of AI‑assisted tools related to testing and productivity enablement.
• The role requires experience working with various automation tools and the ability to adapt to different tools based on system requirements or specific use cases.

• Develop and maintain automated tests using tools such as Tosca, Playwright, JavaScript, and API automation.
• Support test automation frameworks, regression execution, and automation enablement initiatives.
• Support the development, enhancement, or integration of AI‑assisted testing and productivity tools as required by SGX.
• Review the existing automation landscape, including automation tools, test scripts, frameworks, and automation coverage.
• Analyze business and technical requirements to identify suitable automation opportunities.
• Identify the required test scenarios, test scripts, and test data to support automated execution.
• Create or obtain the required test data by coordinating with relevant stakeholders.
• Build, maintain, and execute automated regression test suites.
• Execute automated test scripts and analyze the results.
• Log, track, manage, and retest defects until successful resolution.
• Work effectively across various automation tools where tool selection may vary depending on the system or use case.
• Support enterprise‑scale and complex application environments.

• Strong experience in Test Automation and Quality Engineering.
• Hands‑on experience with one or more of the following:
• Tosca
• Playwright
• Java Script
• API Test Automation
• Experience supporting and maintaining test automation frameworks.
• Strong experience building, maintaining, and executing automated regression test suites.
• Experience supporting enterprise‑scale or complex systems.
• Ability to work with different automation tools based on system requirements and use cases.
• Strong understanding of requirement analysis, test scenarios, test scripts, test data preparation, test execution, and defect management.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
