At Bridgend College, we aren’t just teaching the future of agriculture – we’re living it. Across our 66‑hectare (160‑acre) estate, we run a thriving, hands‑on learning environment. We are looking for an experienced agricultural professional to step into a dual role that combines farm management with student mentorship.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Minimum of a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Agriculture.
  • Proven background working with agricultural land, machinery, and livestock (sheep, cattle, and pigs).
  • Experience supervising land areas, casual staff, or technicians.
  • Strong communication, organisation, digital record‑keeping, and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Experience working with young people, with the ability to maintain professional boundaries.
Responsibilities

As a supervisor, you will manage farm operations, oversee staff and livestock, and mentor students as they develop practical skills on our estate.

The successful candidate will be required to provide evidence of identity and eligibility to work in the UK. The College does not participate in the UK Visa Sponsorship Scheme; therefore candidates must provide evidence of their Right to Work in the UK if offered a role with us. A satisfactory/enhanced DBS disclosure for child and adult workforce, registration as an FE Learning Support Worker, and FE Teacher with the Education Workforce Council is required.
