Production Welder borough

Overview

Great opportunity to start within an engineering business on production welding, with the aim of gaining experience and developing skills. The starting salary will increase with the candidate’s development. The role is busy and there is ample overtime during the week and weekends if desired.

• Perform production TIG welding, primarily with stainless steel and carbon steel
• Work on pipe welding, including small diameters up to 40 mm
• Maintain high standards of accuracy and neatness in repeated, daily welding tasks
• Weld dissimilar metals where required
• Contribute to a busy work environment and adapt to changing workloads

• Experience with TIG welding, specifically with stainless steel and carbon steel
• Pipe welding experience, up to 40 mm diameter
• Ability to perform repetitive work with a focus on accuracy and neatness
• Experience welding dissimilar metals is advantageous

• Hours:
  
  Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm;
  Friday until 1:00pm
• Overtime available during weekdays and weekends as required
• Salary reviewed based on development and performance
