General Surgeon

We are seeking a dedicated General Surgeon for a 35-day assignment in Oregon, commencing Dec 24, 2026, with opportunities for ongoing monthly availability starting January 2027. This role involves a mix of clinic hours and 24-hour out-of-house call, focusing on various surgical procedures and patient consultations. Responsibilities

• Conduct clinic consults.
• Perform colonoscopies and upper scopes.
• Execute laparoscopic cholecystectomies.
• Conduct laparoscopic appendectomies.
• Perform laparoscopic Nissen fundoplasties.
• Execute various hernia repairs including inguinal, femoral, umbilical, and incisional.
• Perform laparotomy for bowel obstruction or tumors in emergency situations.
• Conduct hemorrhoidectomies.

Shift & Schedule

• Opportunities for ongoing 10-shift monthly availability starting January 2027
• Initial coverage from Dec 24-27, 2026, including 24-hour out-of-house call
• Future shifts will involve a mix of 8 AM to 5 PM clinic hours and/or 24-hour out-of-house call
• Patients per day: 2-5 during call, 15-18 in clinic
• LOA: 35 Days
