Locums Hematology Oncology Physician

We are seeking aHematology Oncology Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in Pendleton, OR.This position focuses exclusively on outpatient care, including hospital-based outpatient oncology services and chemotherapy program oversight. The physician will manage a patient volume of approximately 15–18 patients per day and perform bone marrow biopsies. There are no inpatient responsibilities or patient admissions.

• Shift: Days, 8:00AM–5:00 PM, Monday–Thursday
• Coverage: 3 weeks permonth
• Flexibility: 3-day workweeks may be considered
• Practice Setting: Outpatient clinic and hospital-based outpatient services
• Patient Volume: Approximately

• Provide outpatient hematology and oncology consultations, evaluations, and ongoing patient management.
• Direct and oversee the hospital-based outpatient chemotherapy program.
• Develop andmanage individualized treatment plans for patients with hematologic disorders and malignancies.
• Perform bone marrow biopsies.
• Monitor treatment response, manage side effects, and adjust therapies as appropriate.
• Coordinate carewith nursing staff, oncology support teams, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in eClinical
  
  Works and Meditech.

• Board-Certified in Hematology and Board-Certified in Medical Oncology, or Board-Eligible in Medical Oncology
• Board-Eligible candidates must have completed residency within the past 0–5 years
• Active Oregon medical license required
• Current BLScertification required
• Completion ofthe appropriate residency and fellowship training
