Job Summary: Assists the banquet manager with front‑of‑the‑house banquet operations by promoting quality service delivery and skill with all the banquet staff.

Essential Job Functions:

• Promotes exemplary guest service standards through prompt, efficient, and friendly service.
• Assists with training and performance monitoring of all banquet servers on F&B standards.
• Promotes F&B safety and cleanliness standards at all times, ensuring table settings, silverware, glassware, table condiments, workstations, seating areas, and overall environment are maintained.
• Assists banquet manager, as directed, with supervision of staff to include performance coaching, counseling, employee training, and staff scheduling. Provides performance feedback to the manager for team member performance reviews.
• Assumes responsibility for operations in the banquet manager's absence.
• Maintains effective communication with the banquet manager to maintain a strong banquet team.
• All banquet servers will report to the banquet lead for final instructions on setting up space for an event. The banquet lead will be made aware of any last‑minute changes about the event.
• The banquet lead is responsible for the proper storage and cleaning of all banquet equipment.
• The banquet lead must be able to assign tasks to banquet servers and teach banquet servers to follow instructions.
• Promotes a clean, safe, and healthy environment for employees and guests. Promptly addresses hazards and reports concerns to the banquet manager.
• Complies with regulatory laws, employee handbook, department policy and procedures, safety codes, etc.
• Ensures that the operation of equipment, tools, and materials is handled safely.
• Promotes a positive work environment and assists in building a strong overall team.
• Promotes internal guest service standards through courteous and respectful behavior.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Authority:

• Banquet staff on shift.

Signatory Ability:

• Leave and counseling forms.

Access To Sensitive Areas:

• POS System.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Two (2) years of banquet server employment or food and beverage supervisory experience.
• Two (2) years of guest service experience in F&B, including knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards, guest relations, and etiquette experience.
• Supervisory experience with training experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED or ten years’ experience.
• Effective communication skills – verbally able to provide instruction, respond to questions, and have exceptional interpersonal skills and abilities.
• Need to stand and/or walk for long periods, exposed to second‑hand smoke. Able to perform repetitive motions with arms, elbows, wrists, hands, and fingers and able to bend, lift and maneuver 25 lbs.
• Flexible work schedule – weekends and holidays.
• Professional appearance and grooming.
• Must possess or obtain food handler certification and an OLCC server permit within 30 days of employment.
• Requires a High‑Security Gaming clearance.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of POS systems.
