Job Summary: Arthrex Manufacturing Inc is seeking a CNC Machine Operator I to produce quality medical instruments in accordance with company procedures and safety standards on the night shift (Monday through Thursday, 7:30 pm to 6 am). Successful candidates must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least six months of relevant CNC experience.

Main Objective: Produce superior products following Arthrex machining processes and procedures while setting up and running CNC machines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow written processes and operate a variety of CNC machines and special processes under direct supervision.
• Receive work orders, verify component accuracy, and load material on the bar feeder.
• Perform and record line clearance and verify machine programs.
• Deburr parts, measure parts for conformance to blueprint specifications using precision instruments.
• Interact within a manufacturing environment and facilitate daily shift changes.
• Maintain quality and production output, sort/rework parts as required.
• Assist with other operations and perform data entry in the SAP system.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area, follow safety procedures, and report concerns promptly.
• Perform first cut‑off, return all axes to home position, stop machine to change settings, replace tools, and perform tool offsets.
• Recommend process improvements with supervisors or programmers.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Six months of direct CNC experience required.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

Ability to operate CNC machines, use measuring tools, perform line clearance, basic computer literacy, basic math skills, attention to detail, teamwork, and safety commitment. Successful completion of Arthrex assigned curriculum within 180 days of hire/transfer.

Comprehend and apply mathematical principles necessary to perform job functions.

Skills:

Verbally communicate ideas and issues to team members and management; write and record data and information as required by procedures.

Physical Demands:

Occasional exertion of 20–50 lb, frequent 10–25 lb, or constant up to 10 lb to move objects. Physical demands exceed those for Light Work.

Vision Requirements:

Visual acuity necessary to perform job safely and effectively.

Work Environment:

The work environment includes moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk of electrical shock. Noise level is usually moderate. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
