Whey Bagger Operator

At Tillamook County Creamery Association, the Whey Bagger operates and maintains equipment for producing high‑quality whey bags. The role ensures compliance with GMP, HACCP, safety rules, and company operating requirements.

• Operate, monitor, and maintain powder storage bins, powder transfer lines, hoppers, bulk bagging equipment, metal detection equipment, ink jets, palletizer, and stretch wrapping equipment.
• Collect samples of product for performance analysis.
• Comply with GMP, HACCP, safety rules, and other company operating requirements.
• Clean and sanitize systems following the Master Sanitation Schedule.
• Perform routine maintenance on the bagging system.
• Troubleshoot and resolve processing problems during operation.
• Ensure all records are accurate and up to date.
• Maintain the bagging areas in a safe, sanitary, and efficient working order.

• High school diploma or GED is required.

• 0‑3 years’ experience in the food industry preferred; whey plant experience desired.

• Must be computer literate with basic knowledge of Microsoft Word; knowledge of ERP systems such as NAV is preferred.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with co‑workers and supervisors.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Team player with a strong work ethic.
