ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Base pay range: $71.00/hr – $71.00/hr

The ICU Registered Nurse will provide skilled nursing services to patients in the intensive care portion of the hospital. The RN works closely with other healthcare professionals to treat patients with injuries, illnesses, or other conditions requiring ICU care.

• Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse program of study.
• Current and unencumbered license in the state of practice.
• At least two years of experience as an ICU Registered Nurse.
• Background screening as required by the state or contract.
• Drug screening as required by the contract.
• Ability to read medical equipment and documents; moving carts and equipment may be part of the job.
• Ability to lift at least 30 pounds, walk long distances, stand for prolonged periods, and navigate stairs.
• CPR certification as required by the client facility; health and screening tests as required by specific facilities and/or regulatory agencies.

• Comply with ATC Healthcare Services policies and procedures.
• Provide general care services, including assessment, analysis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Assess healthcare needs of patients through routine assessments and develop individualized nursing and health‑care plans.
• Perform health screenings of patients or clients.
• Respond to emergency healthcare needs of patients.
• Collect and record data specific to the health status of patients or clients.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by medical practitioners.
• Provide patient care in a non‑judgmental, non‑discriminatory manner, respecting cultural diversity and patient rights.
• Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA.
• Comply with accepted ethical conduct and professional standards of nursing practice.
• Perform other duties as assigned; duties may vary by department and may change at any time with or without notice.
