Locum NP; Nurse Practitioner), PA; Physician's Assistant Ob​/Gyn

This contract position is based in Pendleton and requires on-site work, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to a vital aspect of women's health within the medical practice industry.

As a Locum NP or PA, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to patients, ensuring their health and well-being in a supportive environment.

• Provide comprehensive care to patients in the Ob/Gyn department
• Conduct patient assessments and evaluations
• Develop and implement treatment plans
• Assist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Stay current with medical best practices and guidelines

• Associate degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant studies
• Active NP or PA license in the state of practice
• Experience in Ob/Gyn preferred but not required
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Commitment to providing compassionate patient care
• Knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) systems

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8a-5p

Weeknight and 24-hour weekend call 1 week per month

Duties: IUD/Nexplanon insertion and removal, prenatal care, natural and emergency deliveries with on-call physician, postpartum care and patient education, routine reproductive healthcare, birth control counseling and contraceptive management, and full-scope women’s health services

Will assist with c-sections

Support Staff: MAs, RNs

EMR:
Meditech, Centricity, and eClinical

Must be board-certified
