Job SummaryAssists the Manager of Food Court operations, food preparation, cooking online, beverage service, and cash transactions and supervises staff.
Essential Job Functions- Ensures customer satisfaction through prompt, efficient, and friendly service.
- Supervises staff on shift, assists supervisor with job duties and standards, and conducts performance counseling and evaluations.
- Ensures all food items are handled and cooked healthfully and adhere to food handling guidelines.
- Monitors Food Court needs to ensure adequate staffing, supplies, and customer service at all times.
- Makes recommendations to Food Court Manager regarding the menu, recipes, procedures, food supplies, and quality sanitation.
- Oversees room service orders, food preparation, delivery, payment procedures, and service standards.
- Constantly maintains work area and supply room in a sanitary and orderly fashion.
- Maintains daily stock of condiments, food products, and supplies for Food Court.
- Performs regular duties of a Food Court/Cashier Attendant, as needed, including food/drink service, cashiering, cooking, etc. for customers.
- Reports to Food Court Manager any unusual work, customer service issues, or employee performance concerns.
- Assists the Food Court Manager with supply orders and the monthly inventory.
- Complies with regulatory laws, PP&P, department policies and procedures, safety codes, etc.
- Must be able to operate and train others on equipment – grill, fryers, oven, POS, etc.
- Assists Food Court staff with re‑stocking, cleaning, servicing customer, etc., as needed.
- Promotes internal guest service standards through courteous and respectful behavior.
- Other related functions as required.
- One (1) year of F&B experience, with at least six (6) months of cashiering experience.
- One (1) year of supervisory experience.
- High School Diploma or GED or ten years’ experience.
- Customer service experience.
- Licensed/certified as a food handler within one month of employment and maintains license.
- Stand and/or walk for long periods; able to perform repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and fingers; able to lift and maneuver 50 lbs.; and able to work in a noisy environment.
- Effective communication skills – verbally able to provide instructions, respond to questions, and have exceptional interpersonal skills and abilities.
- Excellent personal appearance and hygiene habits.
- Requires a criminal history background check.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
