Waypoint's 315-bed hospital focuses on complex mental health and addiction challenges. In this role, you will provide leadership within inter-professional teams, assess patient needs, and develop individualized treatment plans. Your responsibilities will include building therapeutic relationships and ensuring compliance with nursing standards to create a safe and effective environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing leadership for complex patient cases

• Assess and develop individualized treatment plans

• Foster therapeutic nurse-patient relationships

• Monitor and report on patient conditions and progress

• Participate in quality improvement in nursing practices

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse in good standing with the College

• BLS certification with Oxygen Therapy and Airway Management

• Experience in mental health nursing and recovery philosophy

• Knowledge of medication practices and treatment modalities

• Proficiency in both English and French preferred
