Position: Registered Nurse for Mental Health Care
Join Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care as a temporary full-time Registered Nurse focused on delivering critical mental health nursing services. Play a vital role in patient assessment and therapeutic interventions.

This position within the specialized Beckwith A program is temporary and set for up to 12 months. Your responsibilities include assessing patients, developing individualized treatment plans, and ensuring compliance with nursing standards. Contribute to a supportive care environment while collaborating with inter-professional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead nursing care for complex patient scenarios

• Assess and implement treatment and discharge plans

• Establish therapeutic relationships with patients

• Document patient conditions and evaluate their progress

• Adhere to all relevant policies and procedures

Requirements:

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Valid Basic Life Support certification required

• Desired forensic mental health experience

• Proven leadership skills in previous roles

• Knowledge of medication practices and treatment modalities
