Position: Temporary Full-Time Registered Practical Nurse
Become a Registered Practical Nurse at Waypoint Centre, providing crucial mental health care in a temporary full-time role. This position is essential to the improvement of patient outcomes in forensic nursing.

As part of the Beausoleil A program, you will actively participate in the assessment and development of patient care plans. You will monitor patient conditions, implement safety protocols, and contribute to a therapeutic environment for individuals with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement therapeutic treatment plans

• Coordinate care services from admission to discharge

• Monitor and report on patient conditions and risks

• Assist in maintaining a safe environment for patients

• Ensure adherence to nursing standards and policies

Requirements:

• Registration as a Registered Practical Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Valid Basic Life Support and Oxygen Therapy certification

• Experience with high-risk patients and mental health practices

• Familiarity with psychiatric nursing theory and safety procedures

• Proven team player with strong organizational skills
