Position: Compassionate Registered Nurse Role
Join the Central North Correctional Centre as a full-time or casual Registered Nurse. Provide vital healthcare services in a unique setting while promoting patient self-care and rehabilitation.

As a Registered Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in patient care at the Central North Correctional Centre. Collaborating with an inter-professional health care team, you will assess patients, monitor treatment plans, and contribute to health program development. Your expertise will help patients transition successfully back into the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive health assessments for triage

• Advocate for patient participation in care plans

• Monitor treatment response and adjust interventions

• Communicate with community providers for patient histories

• Provide emergency and acute care as needed

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse in good standing in Ontario

• Ability to handle complex patient needs

• Experience in crisis intervention and health teaching

• Knowledge of professional standards and legislation

• Strong communication and organizational skills
