Reed Business Support are working with a creative and respected business based in Edinburgh that have a brand-new role they are looking to recruit for. The role has not come about due to a leaver; this is a need the client have identified as essential to the business's growth going forward!
We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in marketing/communications and social media to provide bid support to the firm's senior team at their Edinburgh studio.
You will be responsible for creating compelling bid proposals andco-ordinating the submission of pre-qualification questionnaires and tender submissions.
Key duties-
- Monitoring procurement portals to identify potential opportunities and obtaining and distributing tender documents as appropriate
- Manage bids timetable
- Prepare bid evaluation documents and bid document plans
- Uploading tenders to procurement portals correctly and ahead of deadlines
- Providing administrative support for bids including liaising with consultants, arranging meetings, collating bid information and tracking bids
- Work on the look and feel of bid documents
- Using our InDesign templates to produce tender documents of consistent quality
- Providing generic answers and company information for Pre-Qualification Questionnaires and Invitation to Tenders
- Working up bespoke responses
- Ensuring our bid library is up to date
- Proof reading submissions
- Preparing case studies and CVs
- Completing SPD questionnaires
- Collate and record bid feedback and record successful bid responses
We are looking for someone that ideally has one year's experience in a bid's role and strong writing, editing and proofreading skills.
