Teacher of Support for Learning - Elovate Systems Inc.

Fixed term position ending 10th August 2027.

Part‑time: 22.75 hours per week (0.65 FTE).

Main grade salary: £34,938 – £52,614.

Location:

Midlothian – 6 secondary schools, 31 primary schools (19 include nurseries), 4 stand‑alone nursery schools, and Saltersgate Special School which supports pupils with physical, social, emotional, behavioural and learning difficulties. School sizes range from ~50 children to over 1,600 pupils.

• Successful completion of medical screening, two written references (one from your most recent/current employer), verification of qualifications, and eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
• Registration with the General Teaching Council of Scotland (GTCS).
  Permanent post applicants must be fully registered.
• PVG check for Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Applicants must be unbarred from working with children.
• Membership of the PVG Scheme (Full membership £59 or Record Update £18). The employer will reimburse the cost once the membership is paid.
• Disclosure of any unspent convictions under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 as required by Disclosure Scotland. Failure to disclose may result in withdrawal of any offer.
