Pupil Support Worker – Nether Currie Primary School
Salary: £27,257 – £29,850 (pro‑rated for part‑time and sessional)
Hours:
27.5 per week, 39 week sessional
Working pattern:
Monday to Thursday 8:30 am to 3:15 pm and Friday 8:30 am to 12:15 pm.
- Previous experience as a pupil support assistant in a school setting.
- Ability to comply with the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme; present an update check or join the Scheme.
- Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required.
PSWs do not work during the 12 weeks of school holidays; however, the total salary is paid in 12 equal monthly payments over the year. There are opportunities to work in a holiday hub provision during the school holidays for successful candidates who wish to work during this period.
Posts are subject to review and contain a mobility clause; successful candidates may be moved to a different school in the future.
