Salary: £40,501–£47,639 (pro‑rata for part‑time) |

25.2 per week, 52 weeks

Purpose of the Job

The fundamental aim of the Active Schools Network is to offer children and young people the opportunities and motivation to adopt active, healthy lifestyles, now and into adulthood.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and sustain an infrastructure to recruit, support and sustain a network of volunteers, coaches, leaders and teachers who deliver physical activity and sport before and after school, during lunchtime and in the wider community.
Regulatory Requirements
  • This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check.
  • Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last five years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. The offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to satisfactory outcomes of both checks.
