HR Assistant (6-Month Temporary Contract) Penicuik | Hybrid Working (3 Days Office / 2 Days Home) | £28,000 - £30,000 Iconic Resourcing is delighted to be supporting a growing and innovative organisation in the search for an HR Assistant to join their People team on an initial 6-month temporary contract. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous HR administration or HR assistant experience who is looking to further develop their career within a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Role Working closely with the HR team, you'll provide essential support across the employee lifecycle, helping to ensure HR processes run smoothly during a particularly busy period of growth and change. Key responsibilities will include:
Managing the HR inbox and responding to employee queries Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes Preparing contracts, letters and employee documentation Maintaining and updating HR systems and employee records Supporting payroll administration, including processing joiners, leavers and contractual changes Conducting Right to Work and compliance checks Assisting with recruitment administration and new starter coordination Supporting HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives About You We're keen to speak with candidates who have:
