Salary £26,337 - £28,835 (pro-rata for part time).

As a Facilities Technician with the City of Edinburgh Council Weston you’ll be a key member of our Facilities Management team. You’ll deliver a vital janitorial service across our estate to ensure our properties are safe places to work or learn. You will undertake day‑to‑day FM, janitorial and DIY operations across one or more buildings, ranging from small repairs and general maintenance to reactive cleaning, supporting moves and conducting basic security functions.

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of three months or more outside the UK in the last five years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will panic be required.
